WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT, AND HOW IS IT USED?
LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota collects personal information from visitors when they register to join an organization, subscribe to a newsletter, opt-in to receive peer-to-peer messaging, or take action on an issue using our service. The personal information we collect is always voluntarily submitted by you, or is based on information you have submitted, such as identifying your member of Congress based on the ZIP code you provided, or identifying your LIUNA region based on the Local Union membership information that you provided.
By providing us with your information, you opt-in to give LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota permission to contact you by peer-to-peer text messaging, email, phone calls, or other means of communication. We keep confidential all personal information entered and never share it with any organization or entity outside of the Laborers’ Union.
In some instances we will share information with various entities within the Laborers Union. For example by joining the International’s Laborers Action Network your information may also be shared with regional Laborers Action Networks of the Union. Likewise, if you join a regional Laborers Action Network, your information may be shared with the International’s Laborers Action Network. In addition, information you provide to the union offline as part of your membership may be stored with our databases in order to further tailor communication to your interests and needs.
If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from any or all of our email lists, you can unsubscribe by simply clicking the unsubscribe option within emails you receive from us, or you can opt-out of future emails by simply stating this desire in a reply to any email we send you. You can also opt-out of future peer-to-peer messages from us by replying "stop", or by calling our office at 6561-653-9776.
LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota may also monitor and track information such as visitor usage patterns of our websites. We compile this information into a statistical aggregate which we use for internal purposes including improving our web service and our email service.

As part of our commitment to ensuring the privacy of our visitors, LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota does not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our online visitors and members with mass marketers or any other organization outside of the Laborers’ International Union.
