Sometimes life or work gets more challenging than we can handle. Your union has your back. We are committed to keeping everyone safe on and off the job. Not sure where to start getting help? Here are three sets of people you can talk to.

  • A trusted coworker or manager.

  • A LIUNA steward, agent, staff or leader. Many are trained in QPR and know how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. (What is QPR?)

  • A professional counselor, a health provider at a Laborers Health & Wellness Clinic, or your primary doctor.
