Vote Yes on School District Question 1
Operating Levy | Spring Lake Park Public Schools ISD #16
The question on the ballot includes two steps:- Step 1 increases the operating levy by $550 per student starting in 2026 with a tax impact of less than $18/month on an average home value of $350K.
- Step 2 increase the operating levy by an additional $380 beginning in 2029 with no net tax impact ($0/month). The district has timed this to coincide with expiring debt to avoid additional taxes. This will bring the total of the operating levy to $930.

Capital Project Levy | Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools ISD #196
-
This November, District 196 voters will be asked to renew and increase the District 196 technology capital projects levy, which funds all instructional technology. If not approved by voters, the $9.1 million in funding will expire this year.
Vote Yes on School District Questions 1 and 2
Operating Levies | Shakopee Public Schools ISD #720
-
Question One asks for a tax-neutral operating levy that would provide $5,000,052 in new annual revenue. This is considered tax-neutral because it would replace the $5,160,455 in taxes from construction debt that will be paid off in 2025.
-
Question Two asks for an additional $310 per pupil in operating levy on top of Question One. This would provide an additional $2,500,026 in annual operating revenue and would bring the school district to its maximum operating levy. For an averaged priced home in Shakopee, this would equate to $8.71 a month. Question Two can only pass if Question One also passes.

Operating Levy - Annandale Public Schools ISD #876
- On July 22, the Annandale School Board voted to hold an election for an operating referendum levy funding request on Election Day, November 5, 2024. The proposal on the ballot will ask voters to increase our district’s general education revenue by $750 per pupil for a 10-year term with an inflationary factor. Based on enrollment projections, the new levy will provide approximately $1.6 million additional dollars for the first year with an inflation factor included for years 2-10.

District 04Minnesota’s Infrastructure Union Announces Final Election Endorsements, Urges "No" Vote on Saint Paul Question 2

SAINT PAUL — LIUNA Minnesota and North Dakota today, released its final round of endorsements for the 2024 election cycle and announced its opposition to Saint Paul Ballot Question 2, which would move local elections for mayor and city council to presidential election years.
“Join union Laborers to help champions of working Minnesotans finish strong so we can build on the last few years' progress to keep fixing our critical infrastructure, create good jobs, and build strong communities," said President and Business Manager Joel Smith.
LIUNA represents thousands of laborers across Minnesota and in Saint Paul who fix and build roads, bridges, schools, buildings, and utilities, as well as provide public works and parks services.
"Moving city elections to presidential years will make it difficult for voters and candidates to be heard,” said Smith. "We urge Saint Paul voters to keep the focus on Saint Paul and vote no on City Question 2."
The infrastructure union endorsed Kelly Morrison for U.S. Representative (District 3), adding to its previous endorsements of Vice President Kamala Harris for President, Governor Tim Walz for Vice President, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, and U.S. Representative Angie Craig (District 2).
LIUNA also endorsed renewal of the constitutional amendment allocating some of the revenues from state lottery sales to the Environmental and Natural Resources Trust Fund. The fund has provided approximately $1.027 billion to 1,601 projects since 1991.
